Senior Solutions Architect

As a key member of the Architecture Design Team, I worked on High-Level Design (HLD) / Solution Architecture Design (SAD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, supporting project design and delivery. I collaborated with both business & technical stakeholders to define technical architectures, ensuring compliance, and improved the SDLC by creating reusable Design Patterns.

• I ensured solution architecture design documents compliance with Technical Design Authority (TDA).
• I worked on migration projects from on-prem to cloud & between classic cloud setup to landing zone Well Architected Framework (WAF), following agile development framework.
• Working in tandem with wider IT Teams & technical vendors to ensure alignment to architectural design principles, security frameworks and cost optimisation guidelines using Azure Cloud’s native components (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Entra ID etc), AWS cloud-native tools (EC2, S3, SES, RDS, IAM, Route53 etc), Identity Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes.
• Some of the key projects I architected, designed & delivered with relevant stakeholders include new relationship intelligence CRM system, implementation of new HR system, new Risk management platform roll-out and new platform for configuration management database (CMDB) using Atlassian Cloud.

Cloud/Web Architect

As a member of the Architecture Team, I helped define the bank’s IT strategy by establishing a long-term Enterprise Architecture vision. I collaborated with Salesforce and Dynamics 365 CRM teams to advise on improvements and ensure architectural compliance.

• I led implementation of architectural artefacts repository using architecture modelling tool, Office 365 and Visio as drawing tool.
• I worked as Lead Architect on web platform transformation & consolidation programme, delivering architecture vision, high-level (HLD) & low-level (LLD) solution designs & data migration strategy.
• I ensured adherence to SDLC and architecture governance through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process.
• I worked as key member of Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings to ensure all changes follow the correct guardrails and are documented correctly.

Head of Software Development

Led teams of front-end and back-end developers, writing high- & low-level solution design documents, creating application & integration architectures. Coordinating with project working groups to track progress and managed the deployment process pipelines.

• Streamlined the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Oversaw cloud service implementation for new client projects on Microsoft Azure & migration of existing workloads from dedicated hosting to Azure.
• Worked on pioneering mobile technology including mobile-first website design using both adaptive and responsive design, hybrid mobile apps using PhoneGap and Angular.

Senior Software Dev & Team Lead

As a key IT team member, collaborated with SLT and stakeholders to deliver award-winning mobile marketing campaigns across various sectors, working with Microsoft and open-source technologies, and mobile development.

Systems Developer

Worked on in-house mobile marketing platform, called ‘iris’, that was built using classic ASP and SQL Server 2000. As part of the development team, worked on various modules to improve its functionality and adding additional features.

Worked on various internal and client projects as main developer including company’s mobile internet site building software, Mobile Site Publisher (MSP), various APIs and Windows services using C# & VB.net. Also worked with the team on migration of in-house platform to ASP.NET (C#) Web Forms and upgrading databases to SQL Server 2005 & above versions.

Section Leader

Working as a volunteer with local Scouts group in section leader capacity. Running scout sessions on bi-weekly basis, helping young children to improve their daily life skills and to become a useful community member by respecting and helping others.
